Today, St John’s continues this legacy but relies on the support of dedicated volunteers to sustain its activities and care for its historic building and grounds. Volunteers play a vital role in areas such as gardening, maintenance, and assisting with events.
By volunteering, community members not only help preserve an important local institution but also contribute to a sense of belonging and connection within Wallerawang. New volunteers are always welcome, with opportunities to suit a range of interests, skills, and availability.
Volunteers are needed for the upkeep and the church and grounds including – Cleaning & gardening We also hold discussions on what is needed to keep the church in good order
